The Pre Prep

The Pre Prep provides a caring and encouraging environment for boys and girls aged 4 - 7. Mrs Linda Smith is the Head of Pre Prep and manages her staff of teachers and teaching assistants.

In each class there are around 18 children and they work with their form teacher and a classroom assistant. The day is by no means all classroom based, even in Foundation, children begin to explore other areas of the school site such as the library and gym, and play and learning is encouraged outdoors as well as within the classroom.

The environment is safe and homely and the opportunities and facilities exceptional. From our Foundation year onward we hope that the genuine commitment of our staff to provide exceptional pastoral care, the hallmark of St Faith’s, is clearly evident.

Our aim in these early years is to ensure that all children genuinely enjoy their days, that they learn to enjoy the process of education and that each child begins to recognise their own potential and to value their individuality as well as their friendships.
