You are here:

Welcome

It’s a pleasure to address you from our website! I hope that you enjoy finding out about this lovely school and that, if you are a prospective parent, you will request a prospectus (there is a form on the Admissions Page for this purpose) and come to visit us.

If you are a current parent we hope that you will find the growing range of information available online supportive and that as this develops still further over time you will feel increasingly informed and involved. However, despite our technical achievements and interactive prowess please do remember that traditional methods of comunication remain welcome - Sheryl is a very soft-hearted sentry outside my door and I can even be accosted at breakfast for a chat (but you will have to get there early!).

St Faith’s is a traditional school in lots of respects – it values curricular breadth, its staff are well-qualified and professionally committed, children learn Latin and to play hockey and to play the violin, as it were – but it remains at the forefront in its educational provision, with internet access and interactive whiteboards everywhere, and a crucial emphasis on pastoral care and the nurturing of children’s self-esteem and confidence.  We teach Christian values while recognising a range of religious backgrounds in our community.

If children are happy at school they see school and home as a continuum so that each supports the other. Children at St Faith’s are very happy – and I hope that you will come to see this for yourselves.

Please ring my Secretary for an appointment on 01223 352073.
