The school comprises a Pre Prep Department (ages 4-7) and the Prep School (ages 7-13). Children work with their class teachers for most subjects in the Pre Prep and in Years 3 and 4, and with subject–specialist teachers in Years 5 to 8. A strong house system encourages children to work hard and to recognise the importance of enthusiastic commitment. Family breakfasts are available each day and younger children can then join the Early Start Programme. At the end of the day a Late Stay programme operates with refreshments and supervised homework and playtime. In addition to the National Curriculum subjects, Spanish is introduced at an early age and Latin starts in Year 5. Music and drama flourish and there are impressive facilities for art, design and technology and ICT. St Faith’s also has a fine sporting tradition and the school fields a large number of teams.
